A HUGE Pumpkin Glow Experience Is Coming to South Jersey!
Way back in 2019, I took my family to a huge pumpkin glow experience in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park. The entire nighttime trail was filled with thousands of glowing jack-o'-lanterns, enormous pumpkin sculptures and some of the coolest carved displays.
And I LOVED it.
South Jersey has plenty of amazing pumpkin patches, hayrides and fall festivals, but there really hasn't been anything quite like that nighttime pumpkin glow experience this close to home in years.
And this time? We don't even have to cross the bridge.
What Is The Great Pumpkin Glow?
Imagine walking through Dalton Farms after dark surrounded by thousands of glowing jack-o'-lanterns.
But we're not just talking about rows of regular carved pumpkins. The Great Pumpkin Glow is bringing huge themed pumpkin displays to life with lights, sounds and immersive elements throughout the experience.
There will also be photo opportunities throughout the trail and seasonal treats along the way.
Wait... Didn't Philly Have Something Like This?
YES! And this is exactly why I'm so excited.
Back in 2019, Philadelphia's Fairmount Park hosted a huge pumpkin glow experience featuring more than 5,000 illuminated pumpkins. There were intricately carved designs, enormous sculptures and entire scenes created from glowing jack-o'-lanterns.
I went to that experience with my family, and it's STILL one of those fall events I remember years later.
There really hasn't been anything quite like it this close to home since. So when I found out a full-scale pumpkin glow experience was coming right here to South Jersey, it immediately had my attention.
And now it's happening practically in our backyard at Dalton Farms. No trip into Philly. No bridge. Just a South Jersey fall night surrounded by glowing pumpkins.
I cover a LOT of fall events every year — pumpkin patches, hayrides, corn mazes, festivals, you name it. But this one feels different.
I still remember walking through the Philly pumpkin glow back in 2019, so finding out we're getting something similar right here in South Jersey seven years later has me ridiculously excited.
