A great local park with plenty of room for kids to run around and play. This is a nice, easy park stop when you just want to get out of the house without turning it into a whole big production.
Laurel Acres Park 🚽 👶 🅿️▾
A family favorite with separate playground areas for different ages and a more toddler-friendly feel. It’s a great one for longer park days thanks to the walking paths, open space, and overall easy layout for families.
Cinnaminson Memorial Park 🚽 🅿️▾
A solid local park with space for kids to play and burn off energy. This feels like one of those simple, dependable neighborhood spots that works well when you want an easy outing.
Wood Park (Cinnaminson) 🚽 🅿️▾
A quieter, smaller park option that can be great for younger kids or families who like a more low-key playground stop without a ton of chaos.
Evesboro-Downs Park (Marlton) 🚧▾
Currently under construction, so this one is more of a keep-an-eye-on-it park for now. Once complete, it should be a great one to have on your radar for Burlington County families.
Frank Fullerton Memorial Park (Moorestown) 🚽 🚧 👶 🅿️▾
A spacious park with room to move and playground areas that work well for a family outing. Nice option when you want a park day that gives kids a little space to spread out.
Riverton Memorial Park 🅿️▾
A cute local park with a relaxed neighborhood feel. Great for a quick and simple play stop when you just want something easy.
Camden County Playgrounds
Wish Upon a Star Park (Barrington) 🚧 👶▾
This one gets it. There’s a special gated crawler zone with a tiny house and rubber flooring—great for new walkers or crawlers. You’ll also find musical instruments and equipment perfect for smaller kids. The main playground isn’t gated.
Scott Merulla Playground (Bellmawr) 🚧▾
Small toddler-sized equipment and
fully fenced — it’s a simple, safe spot that lets you breathe for once.
Chapel Ave Park (Cherry Hill) 🚧▾
Fully gated with lower equipment that won’t give you anxiety. There are parent & me swings along with baby swings.
Warning: there is a soccer field behind the park and sometimes on the weekends they have soccer games so finding parking can be a challenge during those times.
Garden State Rotary Complex (Cherry Hill) 🚧 🅿️▾
Split personality in the best way: one side has a lovely fenced-in toddler area, and the other side is for the big kids. No mixing your brave toddler with the older kids flying off the monkey bars!
Gregory Dalessio Park (Cherry Hill) 🚧▾
Another fully gated win! Toddler-sized gear, baby swings, and the cutest little rocket ship see-saws. 🚀 Bring snacks and let them burn energy while you sip your iced coffee in peace. The park is fully gated but there is no gated door at the entrance.
Parent note: The big kid section is seriously big and some parts are high—super fun for older kids, but keep fearless toddlers close.
Jake’s Place (Cherry Hill) 🚽 🚧 🅿️▾
Rubber surface, lots of toddler-friendly features, and fully gated. No baby swings, but the space makes up for it with easy-to-climb structures and lots of room to roam.
Springbrook Park (Cherry Hill) 🚧▾
Fully fenced, quiet, and the equipment isn’t too high—so it’s toddler-friendly all around. Street parking only and, fair warning, no bathrooms (which is always a gamble in toddler land).
Knight Park Playground (Collingswood) 🚽 👶▾
Soft surface, mini equipment for crawlers and early walkers, and lots of grass for picnic blankets or letting baby roll around. Partial fence, so you’ll still want your running shoes on.
Bonus: During the summer they sometimes turn on the car-washer sprayer which helps on hot days.
Mountwell Playground (Haddonfield) 👶▾
A gem for toddlers! Not only is there toddler-sized gear and baby swings, but also a ton of community toys—ride-on cars, trucks, sandboxes full of diggers, you name it. Mostly gated aside from a broken section. This park is getting renovated soon!
Catalina Hill Playground (Gloucester Township) 🚧▾
Newly remodeled, and fully gated — which is every parent’s dream!
📍 667 Pasadena Drive, Gloucester Township, NJ 08049
Parent Tip: This park is a little hidden! It’s located at the corner of Pasadena Drive & S Beverly Court, right next to the baseball fields. If you're using GPS, it may not bring you directly to the playground but it will bring you in the area. Be sure you go down Beverly to the Glendora Little League stand.
Cooper River Playground (Pennsauken) 🚽 👶▾
This brand new playground is a total win for little ones. Soft, squishy flooring, a designated toddler and baby section, shaded seating for grown-ups, baby-and-me swings, and parent-child swings for older toddlers who still want to ride with you. Total parenting win.
Jake’s Home Playground (Pennsauken) 🚽 🚧▾
Jake’s Home Playground is the newest addition to the Jake’s Place family of inclusive playgrounds—and it’s a great one for families. This brand-new space is fully fenced and features zip lines, plenty of shade, low-to-the-ground equipment, and even a grassy knoll that’s perfect for picnics during warmer weather. A big bonus for parents: the Pennsauken Library is directly behind the park, giving you easy access to bathrooms. And if you need fuel before or after playtime, there’s a Starbucks right across the street—because playground adventures are always better with coffee.
📍 2400 Merchantville Ave, Pennsauken, NJ 08110
Passante Playground (Somerdale) 🚽 🚧▾
Passante Playground just got a fresh makeover! It’s got wood chip flooring (so… not exactly soft), but the big win? It’s fully fenced and there’s a bathroom on-site — cue the happy dance and emergency potty run celebrations!
New Brooklyn Park (Sicklerville) 🚽 🚧 👶 ▾
This one is such a win for littles. There’s a dedicated toddler area, a fun music section, and even a separate space just for babies who are crawling or learning to walk—so you’re not chasing them around bigger kids the whole time.
Joseph N. Petruzzi Children’s Playground (Berlin) ▾
Bright, colorful, and just different enough to keep toddlers engaged. Lots of fun structures that encourage climbing, exploring, and burning off that endless toddler energy.
Winslow Township Ptlm. Daniel Calabrese Memorial Park 🚽 ▾
Super spacious and clean with play areas for both toddlers and bigger kids. Plenty of open space to run, so it’s a great option if you’ve got multiple ages with you.
Cramer Hill Waterfront Park (Camden) ▾
A scenic waterfront park with a newer playground setup. Bonus: it’s super close to the aquarium, so this makes for an easy “park + aquarium” day if you want to make a full outing out of it.

Gloucester County Playgrounds

A huge park with multiple playground areas, including a toddler-friendly fenced section. Great for mixed ages, long walks, and those “we need to get out of the house before everyone loses it” days.
Fasola Park (Deptford) 🚽 👶 ▾
A Gloucester County favorite for toddlers thanks to the large playground setup, toddler-friendly areas, rubber surfacing, baby swings, musical features, and splash pad in warmer months. Just note: this playground is not fully gated.
Red Bank Battlefield Park (National Park) 🚽 👶 ▾
A scenic park with play structures, bathrooms, picnic areas, walking paths, and plenty of room to make it feel like a full outing. Not fully fenced, so this one is better if your toddler is not in full escape-artist mode.
James G. Atkinson Park (Sewell) 🚽 👶 ▾
A big, family-friendly park with two playgrounds, picnic areas, walking paths, and bathrooms. This is a good pick when you want more than just a quick playground stop, but it is not fully fenced.
Scotland Run Park (Clayton) 🚽 ▾
A large county park with a playground, nature center, lake views, trails, and bathrooms/porta-potty access noted near park areas. Not fenced, so this is best for toddlers who stay close or stroller-friendly exploring.
Gloucester Township Community Park 🚽 ▾
A large community park with a tot lot, sports fields, track, and open space. Good for mixed ages and easy outdoor time, but not a fully fenced toddler playground.
