If you've been searching for a calm, beautifully designed indoor play space for your little ones, you're going to want to keep A Playce to Grow on your radar.
I recently had the opportunity to get a sneak peek inside before they officially open, and I immediately understood why so many local parents are excited. This isn't your typical indoor playground filled with flashing lights and overwhelming noise. Instead, it's a thoughtfully designed Montessori-inspired play studio where children can explore, create, imagine, and learn through purposeful play.
Created by a local mom who saw a need for a space that felt welcoming for both children and parents, A Playce to Grow is focused on providing meaningful play experiences while helping families connect and build community.
If you're wondering whether it's a good fit for your child, what memberships include, what ages it's designed for, or what to expect when they open, here's everything parents need to know.

What Parents Need to Know About A Playce to Grow
After getting a sneak peek inside A Playce to Grow, I know one of the biggest questions parents are going to have is, "Is this a good fit for my child?"
The short answer? If you have a baby, toddler, or preschooler, this space was created with them in mind.
Designed for Babies Through Age 6
A Playce to Grow is geared toward little ones from infancy through approximately age 6. Rather than focusing on large climbing structures and overstimulating play equipment, the space encourages exploration, imagination, movement, and independent play in a calm and welcoming environment.
What You'll Find Inside
The studio features several thoughtfully designed play areas that children can move between at their own pace, including:
- A dedicated infant area with soft play features
- A movement zone with a slide and balance activities
- Imaginative play spaces and playhouses
- Rotating sensory experiences and themed sensory bins
Everything is designed to encourage open-ended play while giving families a comfortable space to spend time together.
What is Open Play?
Open Play is exactly what it sounds like — a chance for families to come in, explore the space, and let their children play freely.
There are no complicated schedules to follow during Open Play. Kids can move between activities, discover new areas, and play at their own pace while parents relax, socialize, or join in the fun.
Will Memberships Be Available?
Yes! Monthly unlimited-play memberships are planned once the studio officially opens.
Families who purchase a Founding Family Pass will receive early access to membership enrollment before it becomes available to the general public.
What is the Founding Family Pass?
Right now, families can become Founding Members and receive several special perks before the official opening.
Benefits include:
- Up to three exclusive pre-opening play sessions
- Two complimentary Open Play visits after opening

One thing to note: the pre-opening play sessions and complimentary Open Play visits are separate experiences. The sneak peek sessions happen before the facility officially opens, while the complimentary visits can be used after opening.

As a mom, what stood out most to me during my visit was how intentional the space feels. It's not just another indoor play area—it's a place designed specifically for young children to learn, explore, imagine, and play in a calm environment while giving parents a comfortable place to spend time too.
I have a feeling this is going to become a favorite spot for many South Jersey families.
